Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 3:04PM Thank you one and all...
Firstly, my apologies for not acknowleding all of the great messages on Twitter yesterday; immediately after the presentation I left to play in the Action for Children annaul golf day at Gleneagles so I was unable to respond. The golf day raised in excess of £39.000 so it was all very worth while.
Tim did email me a screen shot with a selection of the comments which I have included at the bottom of this post. It is always good to get positive feedback, it makes the hard work very worth while, both Tim and I really appreciate it and would like to thank everyone who took the time to post something about the presentation.
Thanks also goes to Donna Papacosta for her video introduction and to No.29 who continue to provide first class hospitality and an ideal venue for NMBrek.
Missed the ‘Content is King’ presentation in Glasgow?
You can still attend this presentation in Edinburgh on the 15th September - full details available here
Practicing what we preach…
The very first of our 35 content creation ideas was about asking your customers what they want to know; we would like to hear from you about subjects or topics you would like us to cover in the future. If there is something that you would particularly like covered in a New Media Breakfast please email me and we will see what we can do to include it in the 2012 calendar.
Even more practicing what we preach…
Yesterday we also touched on variety and inviting others to create content; we would like to hear from anyone who is interested in presenting a New Media Breakfast in 2012. This invitation is open to everyone and we will consider any suggestion however there are a couple of ‘rules’:
- The topic must be about new or social media and be relevant to the New Media Breakfast audience
- This is not a sales pitch opportunity; the New Media Breakfast is about knowledge sharing and helping one another
- You must be able to do both Glasgow and Edinburgh New Media Breakfasts - Glasgow first (Normally the last Friday of the Month and Edinburgh around two weeks later (Normally the second Thursday of the month)
If you are interested in taking part please email me with details of what you would like to talk about and why you think it would be relevant to the New Media Breakfast audience. We can’t promise we can accommodate everyone but we will give your ideas consideration. Likewise, if you’ve seen someone presenting that you think would be good for the New Media Breakfast please email me with your suggestion and we will give it consideration.
Thank you again for your continued support and for your kind comments on Twitter it is truly appreciated.
