We always appreciate feedback from the New Media Breakfast attendees, here are some that we have received from previous breakfasts.
BTW, really enjoyed the nmb on Friday, thought the format worked really well!
Gary H Sutherland, Employ Easily HR Services
What a good list of attendees - the thing I like about your NMB is that it is genuine companies looking to learn.
Gordon McIntyre-Kemp, Intelligise
Another cracking event !
Kevin Gibson, HSBC
I enjoyed the New Media presentation in Inverness which was very thought provoking.
Jim Oliver, Data Solutions (Scotland) Ltd
I wanted to take the opportunity to note that two of my team have been along to your breakfasts and have found them very beneficial. Thank you for putting these on.
Chris Horne, Pilotlight Scotland
It was great to meet you at last Friday’s Media Breakfast at the Roxburghe Hotel in Edinburgh. It was a tremendous presentation; very enjoyable and engaging!
Gerry Forristal, Infinite Group
Fantastic session – can’t wait for the next one.
Gill Eastgate, NKD Clothing
Gordon and his Team put on a good show and certainly leave you thinking! In fact, it has such an impact I put the use of “New Media” on the board agenda for each the companies I’m involved with. Hope you have a good one!
Murray Strachan
Good to see you this morning, once again a very interesting & informative meeting.
Frank Cozzo
Despite some hic-ups first thing (Aberdeen FC issues I might add) was a very informative and entertaining presentation this moring by Gordon.
Keith Whyte, Mitchells
I really enjoyed yesterday , but there was so much information to take in.
Follow up workshops would be a good idea , but with smaller numbers so it became more of a communal tutorial where everybody can get involved with asking questions.
Gordon Fettes
I was part of the audience this morning at Pittodrie and was thoroughly enthused by your presentation.
Jim Mitchell, JKM Services
Just a note to say Gordon and I found this morning’s event very stimulating and, as baby boomers, we are surprisingly excited at the prospect of embracing the new technologies which bring a whole new meaning to marketing and business networking. (on Glasgow Event)
I came down from Aberdeen for the event and thoroughly enjoyed it, especially as it was free as I’m a member of No29 (on the Glasgow Event)
Steve Cook, Empire
That was a really interesting presentation at the breakfast this morning. I enjoyed myself and picked up lots of idea. I’ve already recommended the new media breakfast to a friend who also works in communications and is Edinburgh based.
Karl Wright, Publicis Group
Many thanks. I should mention that Ian Kerr MD of ID Inquiries was singing the praises of these events and persuaded me to sign up.
Colin Hulme, Burgess
Another great media breakfast last Friday, thanks!
Jacquelyne morrison, Beauty Express
Just a quick line to say how much I enjoyed the event on Friday. Both events have been very educational.
Like the majority of your audience I think you pitch the seminar at the right level - case studies are good and as I know personally you’ve been great at providing good info and pointers after the event.
Keep up the great work and look forward to seeing you and your team at the next one.
Helen Livingston, Branding Boutique
I really enjoyed the Breakfast seminar this morning. This is a sector that is so easy to fall behind on so I found it very informative. I look upon this like our education system, you do not go to a breakfast seminar for Maths or English, you have a sustained learning process that mixes reinforcement with new learning. For me this is why I will be going to as many of these breakfast seminars as I can. I work with many business people through some of the business transformation work I do and through being the Chair of the membership committee on the Board of the Entrepreneurial Exchange and I can tell you that most people are behind the pace with new media.I was at a dinner last night with some very successful business people and their knowledge of new media was extremely low. (I include myself in that) However I look at this as an exciting challenge and applaud Podcastmatters for blazing a trail with this. Unfortunately for them they have a mixed audience who are at different stages of learning and this is always hard to cater for. Although I took advantage of the free place through my membership of 29 I have to say it was a great value for money £10 spend.
Look upon yourself like a modern day John Knox. Education will change us all for the better.
Brian Williamson, Tiger Eye
You gave a good presentation this morning which was informative. I spoke to Marion on the way out and I would like you to do a short version of the presentation to our board and management team sometime.
Stephen Park-Brown, NVT Group
Just thought I would drop you a quick note to say thank you for today’s media breakfast.
It was great to see someone taking the initiative to bring together communication professionals working with social media in Scotland.
Joe Walton, Real PR
I thought it was really good, you obviously have a ton of knowledge that needs to be tapped into. A lot of things up and coming appeal to me. See you next time.
Jim Devine, 21 Nine Advertising
I was at the 10am session this morning and wanted to let you know that I found it to be very informative and it has given me a renewed energy to start using new media more proactively. The venue and format was perfect and the bacon rolls delicious!
Jason Dawes, Pilotlight Scotland
Thanks a lot for the breakfast meeting yesterday. It was great and very inspiring. Well worth getting out of bed for! I intend to come to all the others, might be Edinburgh sometimes. But, all look very valuable.
John McTaggart, Modernity Scotland
Just wanted to say I thought this morning was a really good event and we will definitely be coming along to future ones.
Lois Boyle, Media House
Nice to meet you this morning. I found the event well-run, interesting and informative – there’s a lot to learn.
As a vegetarian, any chance of organising a fried/scrambled or boiled egg on a roll for those of us not into bacon butties? This is not a complaint, merely a polite suggestion.
Look forward to seeing you again next time round.
Mike Ritchie, Mike Ritchie Media (Mike now gets an egg roll at the Glasgow Breakfast!)
