Topic
Increasingly, content creators are having to pay to get content seen by their target audiences, this is fast becoming the case on all ’social media’ channels. The network that many organisations are turning to is Facebook. Indeed, many B2B organisations are enjoying success by putting their content in front of their target demographic on Facebook – even though the target viewer isn’t necessarily using the platform for business.
In reality, Facebook is a very powerful ‘marketing platform’ (Facebook’s own description), it offers very targeted options, and a wide range of advertising solutions. The ability to reach your target audience and drive them to your content is difficult to ignore. And, accepting that you will have to commit budget to obtaining relevant reach in the future, it’s difficult to see why Facebook wouldn’t be part of your online advertising mix.
However, there is far more to Facebook than just driving eyeballs to your content, it can be massively useful in promoting events, building your database, delivering website traffic, converting sales and, of course, building your community.
The April New Media Breakfast will focus on Facebook Advertising; we will look at the various advertising options, targeting, optimising your ads and interpreting the insights. We will also look at the very important issue of determining budgets, and we will look at some of the less well known functionality that can set you apart from your competitors. Using actual case studies, we will bring you some of our own insights to Facebook Advertising and the enormous potential it offers all businesses – large or small, across all sectors.
AND IT’S NOT JUST FACEBOOK – IT’S INSTAGRAM TOO!
You should also remember that Facebook owns Instagram. Therefore Facebook Advertising also offers advertising opportunities on Instagram. So, if your target demographic are more likely to be grammers than bookers, you too will get plenty useful information to take away.
NOT INVOLVED IN ECOMMERCE, OR DON’T EVEN HAVE A WEBSITE?
Facebook is also a great tool for those who don’t sell online, or even have a website. Functionality like “Claim Offers Ads”, and the in-depth data offered in Ad Reports makes it a truly powerful tool – online or offline.
Who Should Attend
The April New Media Breakfast is ideal for all business owners/operators, marketers and retailers – online or offline. If you are spending on online advertising, or if you intend to in the future, you should come along and learn from actual experiences from live campaigns.
