Google Analytics New Media Breakfast

Date: Friday 27th March 2020
Time: 7:30am for 8:00am
Venue: 29 Club, 29, Royal Exchange Square, Glasgow
Making Google Analytics work for your business

Topic

Google Analytics (GA) is an incredibly powerful tool.  Yet a majority of businesses and organisations are still struggling to make genuinely effective use of it.  This breakfast will give you the encouragement and know-how to get your business on the track of using GA as a core tool in day-to-day decision making.

This will not be a feature-by-feature talk through of Google Analytics but instead a look at the approaches you can take to get Google Analytics to make a meaningful contribution to your organisation’s growth.

The core focus will be on aligning analytics around business goals. The aim is to ensure the reporting you are getting is boardroom ready and forward-looking as opposed to just offering interesting historical insights.

We will also look beyond Google Analytics to the key data challenges companies are facing and in particular the progression towards being able to offer properly personalised experiences.

For New Media Breakfast old hands who may have been to previous analytics breakfasts, this session will serve as good revision. In addition, we will of course take some time to look at a selection of the newer features that Google have added.  In particular the increasing use of machine learning to surface insights that human analysts are unlikely to spot.

Who Should Attend

Given the importance of the topic, it is a must-see presentation for any website owner or webmaster. Business leaders will also come away armed with the right questions to be asking of their digital teams. Whether in B2B, B2C and especially eCommerce, we recommend putting the date in your diary to come along and find out how you can maximise the capabilities of Google Analytics.

Speaker
